Looking for an olive oil that complements a dish without dominating it? Giolivo and Monicè are our gentler profiles. Both are organic extra virgin olive oils from Sannio in Campania, made from different olive varieties.
Giolivo is made from Leccino olives, with a balanced character and hints of almond and apple. Monicè comes from Monicella, with light fruitiness and apple and almond notes. Try Giolivo with grains and soups, or Monicè with salads and fresh cheese. Compare them on the same lightly seasoned food to discover which you prefer.
A mild oil for cooking as well as dressing
Use it raw, in a pan or in the oven, controlling the heat and avoiding smoke. Add a little at a time to delicate fish, vegetables and light sauces. Mild describes flavour: it does not mean lower in calories or prove a particular polyphenol level. If you want a more assertive finish for beans or toasted bread, explore our intensely fruity selection.
From Sannio to your home kitchen
Our olives are grown in Morcone, in the Sannio area of Campania. Bioagricert controls the organic production method: check the EU logo, control code and origin on the label. Product pages show offered sizes and current ordering conditions.
Before choosing
Can extra virgin olive oil taste mild?
Yes. Flavour intensity alone does not determine the extra virgin category. Origin, storage and analytical and sensory requirements still matter.
Which size suits occasional home cooking?
Choose an available size in the product page that fits your consumption. A small bottle may be practical if you cook infrequently. Close it tightly and keep it away from light and heat.
